One Parisian tradition that never fades over time is the art of beautifying department store windows. Contrary to popular belief, it’s not just at Christmas that we indulge in admiring their daring displays. Throughout the year, they offer inventive and often spectacular tableaus for passersby. Currently, the 11 windows of Printemps Paris have been transformed into giant playgrounds. Duck fishing, roller coasters, inflatable slides… These 3D representations alone are worth a visit to Boulevard Haussmann. And they inevitably make us want to step inside to discover more. Because the fun doesn’t stop there.

Free reign for Joey Starr and Paul Smith

Visiting Printemps Paris is not just about admiring grandiose decorations or shopping, but also about taking a break in the beating heart of the city. You can sit at various cafes and restaurants on different floors. Also, enjoy exclusive collaborations with renowned guests. For example, Joey Starr is currently designing the menu for the Bleu Coupole restaurant located on the 6th floor of Printemps Femme. In collaboration with Clément Blondeau, the executive chef of the department store, he has created the menu from A to Z. Crab soup, stuffed mackerel, ginger and curry vegetable casserole…

On the other side of the street, at Printemps Homme, designer Paul Smith is the guest of honor at Café Vert. For the occasion, he has transformed the space, taking inspiration from brutalist architecture, and decorated it with vintage furniture from the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. Traditional British dishes (English breakfast, club sandwich, pudding…) can be enjoyed there, served on tableware designed by artist Alec Doherty. As a bonus, you can even purchase kitchen or gardening tools signed by Paul Smith. We love it.

And new concepts

As you may have understood, one year after the launch of its new branding, Printemps Paris continues to reinvent itself. Among the new additions, the temporary bookstore, organized by Gibert, has set up its shelves on the 7th floor of Printemps Homme until the end of September. You won’t be able to resist buying a novel, or another great book and then devouring it at the Bar Perché. Located on the same floor, it offers breathtaking views of the capital’s rooftops.

On the Printemps Femme side, we head to the Nuit Blanche space on the 6th floor, where we find the perfect outfit for our next Parisian night fever. We then browse through the Hors Paire department on the 5th floor to find the pair of “it” shoes to go with it. And we finish with La Box in the basement, an immersive space dedicated exclusively to accessories. It’s an opportunity to stock up on must-have items, carefully selected by the Printemps Paris team and signed by Yuzefi, Alighieri, and Strathberry, among others.
