<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Commençons tout d’abord par une petite piqûre de rappel. On le retrouve notamment dans les os, le cartilage, les dents, la peau, les tendons et ligaments, les muscles ainsi que dans les vaisseaux sanguins. Le collagène est responsable de la cohésion des tissus. Il joue un rôle important dans le soutien structurel du corps, prévient l’usure des articulations, assure la résistance des vaisseaux sanguins, la fermeté et l’élasticité de la peau, ainsi que la cicatrisation des plaies. <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Malheureusement, dès l’âge de 25 ans, la synthèse de collagène par notre corps diminue d’environ 1,5% par an. Cela se traduit par une baisse progressive de l’élasticité et de l’éclat de la peau, par l’apparition de ridules et de quelques douleurs articulaires. Bien qu’il s’agisse d’un processus de vieillissement naturel, celui-ci peut être accéléré par les agressions du quotidien comme les rayons UV, la pollution, une mauvaise hygiène de vie, le tabac et l’alcool.
