Le phénomène est aujourd’hui de plus en plus connu, si bien qu’il existe des coachs spécialisés en la matière. De quoi s’agit-il exactement ? Comment distinguer ces kilos spécifiques ? Et comment s’en débarrasser ? On vous explique tout ça.</strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Vous ne le savez peut-être pas, mais nos émotions sont parfois à l’origine d’une prise de poids. Notamment les émotions négatives comme le stress, la peur, la tristesse, le manque de confiance en soi, l’ennui ou encore la colère. Lorsque celles-ci sont trop intenses et fréquentes, elles engendrent des kilos émotionnels. Le psychiatre Stéphane Clerget en a fait le sujet principal de son livre : </span><strong><a href="https://www.livremoi.ma/catalog/product/view/id/47529/"><i>Les kilos émotionnels, comment s’en libérer</i></a></strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">, l’un des plus connus sur le sujet. Il explique : Ce </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">sont “des kilos acquis, des prises ou des pertes de poids provoquées par des raisons émotionnelles récentes ou inscrites plus profondément en nous, remontant parfois à notre enfance”</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;">. Si l’ouvrage date de 2015, aujourd’hui, le sujet fait de plus en plus parler de lui et l’on assiste à l’émergence de nombreux </span><strong><a href="https://www.kilos-emotionnels.fr/">coachs spécialisés</a></strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> dans ce domaine. Reste à savoir comment se manifeste cette prise de poids particulière et, surtout, quelles sont les solutions pour y remédier. </span></p>

<h2><span style="font-size: 20px;"><b>Lorsque nos émotions agissent sur notre poids</b></span></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Les kilos émotionnels sont principalement engendrés par un apport énergétique supérieur à nos dépenses journalières, venant compenser une sensation de mal-être. En plus de répondre à des besoins physiologiques, la nourriture joue également le rôle de régulateur émotionnel naturel. Elle aide le corps à maintenir un équilibre relativement stable et a l’avantage de nous réconforter. Donc lorsqu’on se sent triste, anxieux ou qu’on a un petit coup de mou, il est normal d’avoir envie de grignoter. Notamment des aliments gras et sucrés, souvent transformés, aussi connus sous le nom de comfort food. Seulement, il y a une différence entre croquer un carré de chocolat et s’envoyer la tablette entière. Les mangeurs émotionnels avalent littéralement leurs émotions et sont accros à la nourriture, même quand ils n’ont pas faim. Alors, forcément, ils vont grossir. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Dans une interview parue sur le site </span><strong><a href="https://www.psychologies.com/Nutrition/Equilibre/Regimes/Articles-et-Dossiers/Nos-kilos-et-nos-emotions/Nutrition-comment-perdre-nos-kilos-emotionnels">Psychologies</a></strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> en 2022, le docteur Stéphane Clerget explique que manger en réaction à une émotion permet de l’étouffer, et donc de se sentir mieux. Parfois, ce comportement remonte à l’enfance : “</span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">Si, à chacune de nos frustrations, notre mère nous consolait par un gâteau, un bonbon, ce réflexe de manger aura tendance à perdurer adulte</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;">”, détaille-t-il. Plus généralement, quand la nourriture est la seule source de réconfort dans notre vie, il est normal de se ruer dessus à la moindre contrariété.</span></p>

<h2><span style="font-size: 20px;"><b>Comment se délester des kilos émotionnels ?</b></span></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Perdre ses kilos émotionnels n’est pas forcément évident. Tout d’abord parce qu’il faut réussir à distinguer une réelle sensation de faim d’une simple pulsion alimentaire engendrée par une émotion. Il est important de (ré)apprendre à s’écouter. La faim se manifeste généralement par une sensation de ventre creux, une baisse d’énergie et une salivation intense. On se réfère donc à son estomac. En revanche, l’alimentation émotionnelle est dictée par la tête. Ce dernier peut être consulté en parallèle d’un nutritionniste qui élaborera un programme diététique adapté à nos besoins. Celui-ci décidera s’il est nécessaire de stopper complètement le ou les aliments addictifs, ou au contraire de le garder mais en les diminuant.</span></p>
