Moroccan Student Recognized at Cannes Film Festival’s Parallel Section
Zineb Wakrim, a student at ESAV in Marrakech, had her short film “AYYUR” (“Moon” in Amazigh) recognized at Cannes. She won the 3rd prize of Cinef, a program supporting young filmmakers. In her film, the director portrays the daily lives of two adolescents with XP sydrome (xeroderma pigmentosum). If you’re curious, it’s playing at the Cinema du Pantheon in Paris on Monday, June 5th at 6:30 pm.
Nespresso’s Vertuo Machine Finally Arrives in Morocco
Coffee enthusiasts have been eagerly awaiting it, and the Vertuo machine is finally available in Morocco. Its appeal lies in its centrifusion extraction method (an innovation that combines infusion and centrifugal force).
