recette de soins pour cheveux

What hair care recipe should be included in your spring routine? Whether you have split ends, dull and brittle locks, or suffer from seasonal hair loss, the solution lies in your cabinet!  Take a look for yourself.

At the end of winter, our hair tends to lose its luster. Blame it on the often harsh weather, static electricity, and overheated indoor spaces. These are all factors that damage the hair fiber. Add to that possible hair loss induced by the change of season, and you’ll find yourself with a dull, brittle, lifeless mane… Faced with these different symptoms, it is urgent to update your hair care routine.

You probably know that to limit the damage, you should start by reducing (or completely stopping) the use of heat styling tools. No more blowouts and straightening, at least for a while. Then, it’s important to deeply repair your hair fiber. This involves professional treatments at salons but also at home. Natural ingredients have indeed proven their effectiveness and can help address various hair concerns. All you need to do is find the right hair care recipe tailored to your needs.

The nourishing hair care recipe

When dealing with brittle hair, the first step is to deeply nourish the hair fiber. To do this, avocado is essential, packed with “good fatty acids” and nutrients, excellent for both overall health and hair health. Combine it with the nourishing richness of coconut oil, the hydrating power of honey, and the soothing properties of lavender essential oil, and you have a hair care recipe with powerful benefits.

However, be cautious with essential oils: test them beforehand on the inside of your elbow to ensure you are not allergic. Also, their use is not recommended for children under 7 years old and pregnant or breastfeeding women (with the exception of some, such as real lavender).

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 2 tablespoons of coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 3 drops of lavender essential oil

In a bowl, mash the avocado and then add the remaining ingredients. Mix until you get a smooth and homogeneous mixture. Then, apply your mask evenly throughout your hair, leave it on for at least thirty minutes (the longer, the better), and then proceed to shampoo.

The hydrating hair care recipe

To restore softness and suppleness to your hair, it’s essential to provide it with extra hydration. We turn to aloe vera, a plant rich in water and therefore highly hydrating. But its benefits don’t stop there. It also provides strength and shine to the hair. For enhanced results, you can add rosemary essential oil, which both strengthens the lengths and promotes hair growth.

  • 4 tablespoons of aloe vera gel
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons of sweet almond oil
  • 2 drops of rosemary essential oil

Mix all the ingredients well in a small bowl. You can use an immersion blender to make it easier and give the preparation a foamy texture. Then, apply the mixture to your entire hair (dry or slightly damp), focusing on the ends and scalp. Leave it on for 1 to 2 hours and then proceed to shampoo.

The repairing hair care recipe

Egg is also a very promising  ingredient for caring for dry, damaged, and tired hair. Thanks to its high protein and good fat content, it has exceptional nourishing and repairing properties. Combine it with a vegetable oil and a bit of honey, and you’ll get a hair care recipe that’s both strengthening and softening.

  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon of honey

Beat the egg yolks in a bowl. Then, lightly heat the coconut oil until it becomes liquid before pouring it over the eggs. Finish by adding the honey. Mix everything together and immediately apply the mask to the hair, strand by strand. For an enhanced treatment, you can wrap your hair in a warm towel or plastic wrap. Leave it on for a good hour before rinsing and washing.

The illuminating hair care recipe

To bring light to dull hair, nothing beats lemon! Indeed, it has the ability to tighten the cuticles and remove limestone deposits to reveal all the nuances of your hair color. But be careful: it’s acidic. So, be sure to use it  with vegetable oil and egg yolk for a repairing and softening effect.

  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 egg yolk

After thoroughly mixing all the ingredients together, apply the mixture to your hair, avoiding the roots to prevent greasing the scalp. Leave it on for 30 minutes then rinse with clear water before shampooing.

The comforting hair care recipe

For nourishing and repairing, bananas are also a miracle ingredient for caring for damaged hair. In addition to making it soft and supple, it’s also known to stimulate hair growth. So, there are plenty of reasons to opt for this homemade mixture.

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 tablespoon of jojoba oil
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 egg yolk

Mash the banana in a bowl to ensure there are no lumps. Add the jojoba oil, honey, and egg yolk. The last two ingredients are optional but they provide even more nutrients and hydration to this hair care recipe. Mix everything well and apply it to your hair, avoiding the roots if they tend to become greasy quickly. Leave it on for at least 30 minutes before shampooing.
