5 NEW HOTSPOTS MAKING WAVES IN CASABLANCA

Fashion, stunning flowers, a boutique hotel, and even a wellness spot designed just for men—Casablanca’s latest openings are as diverse as they are exciting. Ready for a tour of the city’s freshest addresses? Shoelifer takes you through the streets, squares, and boulevards of the White City!

Prime location!

We don’t need to introduce you to Aèle. You’re probably already familiar with this Moroccan brand, proudly designed by women, for women. We’ve covered it before. But what we do want to talk about is its brand-new address. The two sisters behind the brand, Lamia and Alia Lahbabi—one a seasoned fashion photographer, the other a communication expert—have channeled their passion for fashion and design into a fresh retail space. Their latest boutique now graces the esplanade of CIL.

Alongside their signature casual-chic ready-to-wear pieces, Aèle also showcases designer jewelry (like Vendredi, which we recently featured), must-have Rive Droite bags (a hit in France and Morocco), and a curated selection of trendy home decor. Any excuse is good enough to stop by!

A step back in time

Casablanca’s latest buzz also includes the grand opening of The Marly Boutique Hotel, set for February 1st. Standing tall on boulevard Massira Al Khadra, its sophisticated facade and refined materials exude Art Deco charm. With a nod to the architectural golden age of the city, the hotel blends Parisian townhouse elegance with Moroccan flair.

The Marly features 39 rooms and suites along with two exquisite restaurants. La Maison M, designed by Fabrice Maurel’s studio, serves up a Franco-Mediterranean brasserie menu, while Mystik, perched on the hotel rooftop, offers a fusion of Japanese and Peruvian flavors. Whether it’s a business lunch, a cocktail with friends, or a romantic getaway, this spot has you covered.
